Polytetrafluoroethylene

Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a high-molecular polymer polymerized from tetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) monomers, with the chemical formula (C2F4)n. It exhibits excellent heat and cold resistance and can be used continuously at temperatures ranging from -180 to 260ºC. This material is resistant to acids, alkalis, and various organic solvents, and is virtually insoluble in all solvents. Furthermore, PTFE is heat-resistant and has an extremely low coefficient of friction, making it suitable for both lubrication and as an ideal coating for easy-to-clean water pipe interiors.

Electronics and electrical engineering: Used for wire insulation and circuit boards, providing excellent insulation and stable high-frequency signal transmission.

Medical surgery: Used for artificial blood vessels and surgical stents; the body does not reject it, ensuring high safety.

Mechanical lubrication: Used for bearings and seals; low friction allows for smooth operation without lubrication.

Everyday non-stick coating: The coating for non-stick pans, preventing food from sticking and making cleaning easy.
